Russia and Kazakhstan discussed prospects of parliamentary cooperation

While on a visit to Moscow, Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami met with the Speaker of the State Douma of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin. The two Speakers discussed the prospects of bilateral parliamentary cooperation which is one of the cornerstones of strategic partnership between the two nations.
The two parliaments have functioning bilateral commissions on a number of issues of mutual concern. The speakers further exchanged views on common action in theIPA CIS, PA EuraSEC and PA OTCS, moving forward.
