Speaker of Council of Republic of National Assembly of Republic of Belarus Elected

At the first session of the Council of the Republic of the 7th National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova was elected as Speaker of the Council of the Republic.
Her candidature was approved by 59 out of 60 members of the Council of the Republic who took part in balloting.
She expressed her appreciation to the members of the Council of the Republic for the high level of trust and stressed the main objectives of the 7th session of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly.
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed candidacy of former Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich for the position of the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
