Tavricheskiy Palace Hosts Celebration of Armenia’s Independence Day

A reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia celebrated on 21 September took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters.

The event was organized by the General Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in St. Petersburg. Acting Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in St. Petersburg Vazgen Sargsyan, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Andrey Khlutkov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Leningrad Region Inna Bigotskaia, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Dmitriy Tugov and vicar of the head of the Russian and Novo-Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in St. Petersburg and Northwestern District Pogos Vardanyan delivered their speeches at the event.
