Ukraine as a driver of integration in the CIS

The CIS as an integrational framework is rich in potential yet to be tapped and the Ukraine as the holder of Chairmanship in the CIS for the year 2014 is called to be a driver of the integrational processes in the post-Soviet environment. Experts are of one mind that 2014 will be crucial for the Ukraine and the CIS. The way Ukraine relates itself toward the CIS will in many way determine the future pathways of integration in the Commonwealth and shape the Organization itself.
