11th Annual International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” — 2023 to be Held in Saint Petersburg

On 28-29 November, the 11th Annual International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” will be held. The main topic of this year is “Sustainability, adaptivity and self-identification of the economic space of Greater Eurasia in the context of global transformation”. The Forum is organized by St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) in cooperation with the IPA CIS, the Committee for External Relations of Saint-Petersburg and the Eurasian Association of Universities.
Representatives of legislative and executive authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union member states, members of the Eurasian Association of Universities, the CIS Executive Committee, academics, economists, politicians, experts and public figures will take part in the Forum. Among them:
- Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Volvach;
- Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy;
- Chief economist at the VEB.RF Andrei Klepach;
- Member of the Board – Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasion Economic Commission Arzybek Kozhoshev;
- Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics Igor Maksimtsev;
- Deputy Executive Secretary of the CSTO PA — Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Mikhail Krotov.
Opening of the Forum and plenary session will be held on 28 November at the headquarters of the IPA CIS — Tavricheskiy Palace.
The work of the Forum will continue on 29 November at UNECON in the format of the thematic sessions. Participants will consider the development of energy projects and hubs in the Eurasian region, new vectors for the development of personnel training for the tourism sector of the economy of Greater Eurasia, integration role of international transport and logistics corridors.
The thematic session “Transformation of Geopolitical Processes in the Eurasian Space in the Context of New Challenges” will be held with the IPA CIS Secretariat support.
The Annual International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” is one of the main congress platforms for conducting a dialogue on the problems of Eurasian integration, as well as exchanging views on the prospects of Eurasian interstate cooperation.
