CIS Foreign Ministers Met in Dushanbe

On 13 May 2022, a meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers chaired by the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan).

The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov.

During the event, the participants exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda and interaction within the Commonwealth. The heads of the foreign ministries considered 11 issues related to the further development and deepening of cooperation in key fields of the CIS activities.
