Meeting of CIS Council of Permanent Representatives Held in Minsk

The regular meeting of the Council of the Permanent Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth was held on 26 July in Minsk. The meeting agreed on draft agendas for the next meetings of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers and the Council of the CIS Heads of State to be held on 13-14 October.

Members of the Council of Permanent Representatives also considered proposals for the draft agenda of the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government, which is scheduled for 28 October in Nur-Sultan.  

Chairman of the Council, Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Statutory and Other bodies of the Commonwealth Askar Beisenbayev briefed the participants on the implementation of the Concept of the Chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2022 and the Action Plan for its implementation in the first half of the year.

The next meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives will be held on 25 August in Vitebsk.
