A meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers will be held in Moscow

On 5 April, a regular meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers will be held in the Reception House of the Russian MFA in Moscow.

The draft agenda, which was formed at the January meeting of the Council of the CIS Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives at the Statutory and other Commonwealth Bodies and approved by the Chair of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Vice-Chair of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, includes 10 issues.

A traditional exchange of views on topical international problems and on issues of Commonwealth interaction will be held in a narrow format. The ministers will discuss the draft Statement of the CIS Heads of State on the 80th anniversary of the start of World War II and the process of enhancing the partnership between the foreign affairs agencies of the CIS countries.

Issues of preservation military graves and military monuments of the Great Patriotic War and coordination intergovernmental relations in the field of fundamental research are proposed for consideration at the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers.
