Conference marking the 190th anniversary of Ahmad Donish took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Social and scientific conference “Russia – Tajikistan: past, present and future” marking the 190^th anniversary of the great Tajik thinker, poet and writer Ahmad Donish took place today in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

Chair of the St. Petersburg non-governmental Tajikistani organization “Ajam”, co-chair of the international social movement “Civil world”,       Cand. Sc. Murod Usmanov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech: “Dear friends, Russia and Tajikistan are united through common destiny, cultural communication and age-long friendship. The theme of our conference will allow us to find new ways and solutions for further cultural cooperation and security in our states”.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khalel Bakenov, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Ion Lipciu, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova, as well as Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Ibod Rakhimov, took part in the conference.
