Congress kicked off in a festive atmosphere at Lenexpo

The opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the IPA CIS Secretariat Alexey Sergeyev. For the first time the Congress kicked off in an atmosphere so lively and festive, according to the Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Yevgeniy Bushmin. The dedicated exposition had ten sections featuring transit planning and design, traffic control, monitoring systems, etc. The Plenary meeting of the Congress will move to the Tavricheskiy Palace, the HQ of one of its sponsors, the IPA CIS.
