International migration was discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The headquarters of the IPA CIS held Round Table “International Migration: regional aspects of social adaptation and integration”. This event was organized as part of the Cooperation Agreement of 2012 between the IPA CIAS and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

It was attended by representatives of the IPA CIS, Russian Red Cross, regional representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, representatives of the regional departments of the RRC, representatives of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in the Russian Federation, Red Cross Representatives from Sweden, Czech, Denmark, representatives of foreign consulates.

The round table focused on RRC experience in implementing migration programs, discussed the cooperation with RC in Sweden, Czech, Denmark and emphasized the importance of psychological aid for migrants.
