New federal TV channel Mir

The reach of TV Channel Mir is 110 mln people, this is the audience of Russia, other CIS countries, Georgia, and the Baltic countries.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin enacted the bill, which binds cable operators to broadcast all terrestrial channels for free and prohibits them from making alterations to the broadcasts. Now 10 more channels are available for the Russian audience for free. TV Channel Mir will be broadcast digitally all over Russia.

The new law may result in increasing the reach in Russia and in growing number of multiplexes in other countries where we broadcast, believes Chairperson if Interstate TV and Radio Company Mir Radik Batyrshin.
