Session of the Council of Permanent Representatives in the CIS Executive Committee

The capital of the Republic of Belarus hosted the 1st session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and other Bodies of the Commonwealth this year.
Chairman of the Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev attended the session. Yuriy Andreyev represented the IPA CIS at the event.
This year the baton of presidency has been passed from the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan and its Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative Kubanychbek Omuraliev. He introduced the concept of Kyrgyzstan’s presidency and its main principles for 2016.
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Dzhema Bagdasaryan presented her report on the Council’s work. She emphasized the importance of cooperation with the IPA CIS.
The permanent representatives approved the action plan for 2016 and set the date of the next session for 9 February.
