The meeting of Permanent Representatives took place in Minsk

The capital of the Republic of Belarus hosted the regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the CIS Nations. The meeting took place in the Executive Committee of the CIS.
It was attended by plenipotentiary representatives of the CIS nations, Chairperson of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev, IPA CIS Council Representative in the Executive Committee Yuriy Andreev.
The plenipotentiary representatives discussed the outcomes of the meetings of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers and the Council of the CIS Heads of State that had taken place in Kazakhstan on 15 and 16 October 2015.
Another issue for discussion was the Action Plan for the 3rd stage (2016-2020) of the CIS Economic Strategy.
The participants also appreciated the effective work of the CIS Advisory Board in preventing and investigating economic crimes. They recommended the Advisory Board continue their efforts in improving the national legislations of the CIS nations for international cooperation and in tax legislation.
The next meeting of the Council of the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives is scheduled for 17 November 2015.
