The Program of Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for 2018-2021 was signed

In the Year of Culture announced in the CIS countries , , the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus signed the Program of Cooperation for 2018-2021 in the margins of the IPA CIS spring session in the Tavrichesky Palace, in St. Petersburg. The program was signed by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova and Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Yatsko.

During the 47th IPA CIS plenary, Alla Manilova delivered a report on the Intercultural dialogue of the Commonwealth countries: Status, Prospects and Legal Support and noted that all CIS Interagency Agreements cover the exchange of cultural activities on a full parity and non-monetary basis. This is the most effective model for the implementation of joint cultural activities, as it significantly reduces material costs.

The parties to the Agreement noted: "Culture is the most vivid expression of the historic communion of the CIS nations."
