Vienna welcomes OSCE PA Winter Session

Yesterday, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly launched its ordinary winter session.
The Session welcomed over 260 delegates from 58 countries and will cover issues related to the global financial crisis and the functions of the media in ensuring effective governance.
The session featured addresses by Ranko Krivokapic, President of the OSCE PA, Barbara Prammer, Speaker of Austrian Parliament, and Spencer Oliver, OSCE PA SecGen, as well as by Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Parliament of Afghanistan Abdu Rauf.
OSCE PA Summer Session will take place in Baku from 29 June to 2 July.
