The kids, all of them enthusiastic about things ecological, were walked through the ceremonial halls of the Tavricheskiy Palace. The contest has been organised within the program of the Year of Conservation. Several thousand schoolchildren participated in the contest.

The works were displayed in the Ekaterininskiy Hall for every participant of the Congress to see and appreciate. The purpose of the Congress was to raise awareness to the issues of conservation.

The best authors have been greeted by the Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Sergey Kourdin who also distributed prizes and awards. He expressed hope that next year the Congress will benefit from even more works by junior artists.
