Alexei Mayorov Appointed Coordinator of IPA CIS Observer Team at Elections in Republic of Kazakhstan

At the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, the IPA CIS observers will take part in the short-term monitoring of the elections to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to be held on 10 January 2021.

The monitoring group includes the MPs from the IPA CIS Member Nations, the IPA CIS IIMDD representatives and the staff members of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat. In total, 47 observers from the IPA CIS will work at the elections in Kazakhstan.

Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Agriculture and Food Policy and Environmental Management Alexei Mayorov was appointed the IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator.

From 7 to 12 January 2021, the observers will work in Nur-Sultan and other regions of Kazakstan.
