Viktor Zavarzin to Head IPA CIS International Observers at Presidential Elections in Kyrgyz Republic

At the invitation of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov, the IPA CIS observers will take part in the short-term monitoring of the snap elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the referendum to be held on 10 January 2021.

The observer team is to be composed of the MPs from the IPA CIS Member Nations, the IPA CIS IIMDD representatives and the IPA CIS Council Secretariat staff members of the.

Deputy Chair of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Defense, Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Defense and Security Issues Viktor Zavarzin was appointed the IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator.

The observers will work in the Kyrgyz Republic from 7 to 12 January 2021.
