CEC of Kazakhstan Announced Results of Election to Lower House of Parliament

The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced the final results of the parliamentary elections held on the 19 March.  As a result, six parties were elected to the Mazhilis.

According to CEC Chair Nurlan Abdirov, results are the following:

The Amanat party received 53.9% (40 mandates), Auyl People’s Patriotic Democratic Party ("Village") - 10.9% (8 mandates); Respublica party - 8.59% (6 mandates); Aq Jol Democratic Party - 8.41% (6 mandates); People's Party of Kazakhstan - 6.80% - (5 mandates); National Social Democratic Party - 5.20% (4 mandates).

The Kazakhstan Green Party “Baytaq” received only 2.30%, which means it didn’t pass the threshold. 3.9% of voters voted “against all”.
