CIS Observers Met With OSCE/ODIHR Observer Mission

Head of the CIS Observer Mission at the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev and IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator at the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mahmadali Vatanzoda discussed the election campaign with the Head of the OSCE / ODIHR Observer Mission Johann Murphy.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations Ivan Mushket also attended the meeting.

The parties discussed a number of issues related to the equipment of polling stations, the work of observers and media coverage of the elections.
