Democratic Transformations Through State Programs Discussed at Seminar in Baku

On 16 November, the Baku office of the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD) with the assistance of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic held the international seminar “The Role of State Programs in the Implementation of Democratic Transformations: Model of Azerbaijan”. The representatives of the CIS parliaments and executive authorities, academia and experts discussed the implementation of democratic reforms in the Commonwealth.
Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Baku office Teymur Muradov moderated the seminar.
Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy sent a welcoming speech, which was delivered by Deputy Secretary General –Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic at the IPA CIS Aydin Jafarov.
Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – IPA CIS IIMDD Director Ivan Mushket, Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Bishkek office Islambek Mursabekov and Deputy Secretaries Generals –Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Bakhtovar Safarzoda also made speeches at the international seminar.
