Dmitriy Kobitskiy Met With Acting Prime Minister of Republic of Moldova Aureliu Ciocoi on Eve of Elections

Head of the CIS Observer Mission, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy met with Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Aureliu Ciocoi.

The parties discussed early parliamentary elections of the Republic of Moldova to be held on 11 July.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy told about the composition of the CIS Observer Mission and the principles of its work and informed about the modalities of the CIS observers for the coming days.

In turn, Aureliu Ciocoi stressed the importance of international observation of the electoral campaign and expressed confidence that the organizers of the elections would make every effort to ensure that they are held in accordance with the electoral legislation of the country.
