IPA CIS Expands Geography of Election Monitoring at Polling Stations Outside CIS

At the snap elections to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova scheduled for 11 July, the international observers – experts from the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development (IPA CIS IIMDD) will observer not only 10 polling stations in the Commonwealth countries, but also 34 polling stations in Europe, Asia and North America, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Israel, China, Turkey, Japan and Canada.

In the CIS countries, the IPA CIS observers will work at 5 polling stations in Moscow, 3 polling stations in St. Petersburg, as well as in Baku and Minsk.

In total, 66 observers out of 90 included in the IPA CIS Observer Team will work outside the Republic of Moldova.
