Dmitriy Kobitskiy: We Aim to Encompass a Maximum Number of Polling Stations by Means of Monitoring

The voting at the elections to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova kicked off today. Head of the CIS Observer mission, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy observed the opening of the polling station in Chisinau.

Head of the Mission familiarized himself with the process of the voter’s identification, the organization of the bulletins hand-out and the voting, and also held conversations with the national observers.

Speaking with the press, Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted that 130 CIS observers monitor the elections to the Parliament, 90 of which represent the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. 34 IPA CIS observers operate in the Republic, whereas the rest are occupied at foreign polling stations in CIS and beyond – in Europe, Asia and North America.
