IIMDD IPA CIS Discussed Results of Work in First Half of 2020

On 3 July, the Heads of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IIMDD IPA CIS) and its offices in Baku, Bishkek, Yerevan and Chisinau held a meeting via videoconference.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Ivan Mushket, Adviser to the Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Sergey Karavaev, Deputy Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Elena Eremenko, Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Baku office Elman Imamaliyev, Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Bishkek office Islambek Mursabekov, Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Yerevan office Vahram Avetisyan, Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Chisinau office Evgeny Shtirbu and staff members of the Secretariat and IIMDD.
During the event, participants discussed human resource policy, research and publishing activities of the Institute. Also, the updated IPA CIS website with the expanded functionality was presented to the Heads of IIMDD IPA CIS.
Ivan Mushket emphasized the need to revitalize the work with youth and university communities of IPA CIS countries. The Heads of the IIMDD IPA CIS offices spoke about the events planned for this year, as well as the events already held. In addition, the participants raised relevant issues of the current work of the offices and interaction with the partner organizations.
