IIMDD IPA CIS Staff Members and Experts Participated in Online Symposium on Elections in Times of Epidemic

On 2 June 2020, the online conference, dedicated to the issues of holding elections during the global pandemic of coronavirus (COVID-19) took place. The event was initiated by the Association of European Election Officials (ACEEEO) and was moderated by its Secretary General Zsolt Szolnoki.
The agenda of the conference included the reports of Head of Department of the National Electoral Office of Poland Krzysztof Lorentz “Holding Elections in Poland on 28 June”, Expert at International IDEA Ingrid Bicu “Outlook to Our Conference Theme: Communications in Times of Epidemic” and Head of International Affairs Unit of the National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE) Manuel Carrillo Poblano “Elections and Democracy in the Epidemic: the Latin-American Experience”.
The IIMDD IPA CIS staff members Roman Amburtsev and Maksim Andreev and the IIMDD IPA CIS expert Dmitriy Baryshnikov attended the conference.
