IPA CIS Observer Team to Monitor Parliamentary Elections in Kazakhstan

The CIS Interparliamentary Assembly has received a letter from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi to Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, inviting international observers from the Assembly to participate in monitoring the upcoming early parliamentary elections.

The IPA CIS member parliaments are expected to delegate representatives to the Observer Team that will monitor the elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The international observers will visit polling stations, assess their availability and equipment, and monitor the tabulation of its results.
