IPA CIS Observers Discussed Election-Related Issues with MFA of Kyrgyz Republic

On 27 November 2021, within the framework of the short-term monitoring of the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for 28 November 2021, the IPA CIS observers, headed by Chair of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Defense and Security Issues Kutbidin Burkhanov, met with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov highlighted the interest in fair and transparent elections and spoke about the specifics of organizing the voting process abroad. He stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took all necessary measures to ensure that citizens voting abroad could fully exercise their electoral rights.

In his turn, Kutbidin Burkhanov spoke about the composition of the Observer Team and the work carried out by the IPA CIS observers.
