IPA CIS Observers Met with President of Kyrgyz Republic at Polling Station in Bishkek

The IPA CIS Observer Team continued monitoring of the referendum in the Kyrgyz Republic on the draft new Constitution.

Team Coordinator, Chair of the Committee of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Ensuring Constitutional Principles, Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms and the Rule of Law, Member of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues Dilshod Rahmon and Secretary General – Head of the Secretariat of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Dmitriy Kobitskiy visited the polling station, where President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov voted.

The Head of State greeted the international observers and called on all the citizens of Kyrgyzstan to actively participate in the referendum.
