IV International Student Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of World’s Countries” Starts on 15 September

From 15 September to 30 October 2023 the IV International Student Internet-Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the World’s Countries” will be held among students of universities of the IPA CIS Member Nations. The organisers are the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD), the Saratov State Law Academy and the International Centre for Scientific and Technical Information.
The main objectives of the Internet Olympiad are to raise the level of knowledge of young voters on the principles of democratic development of modern society, parliamentarism and electoral rights of citizens, to form creative abilities and interest in academic knowledge of the world, to identify and support talented students, to popularise the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication.
In 2022 1465 students from 149 higher educational institutions of the CIS countries took part in the Olympiad.
