Nomination of Candidates to Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic Completed

On 19 August 2020, the political parties completed nomination of candidates to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the Central Commission on Elections and Holding Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic, 22 parties have hold party congresses and approved lists of candidates.

Now the parties are expected to submit the prescribed set of documents, including the list of candidates and their data, to the Central Commission on Elections and Holding Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic both in paper and electronic form. The data will be uploaded to the “Electronic Candidate” program designed for the development of electronic information database. The electronic database will enable to check the data submitted by the parties via the electronic inter-agency coordination platform “Tunduk”.
