Azerbaijan community in Moscow shows good turnout at elections

International observers in Moscow monitoring elections of the President of Azerbaijan Republic visited the polling station deployed at the Azerbaijan embassy in Moscow.

The observers met with the Chairman of the local elecom Agalar Atamoglanov, inspected the site and interviewed the staff of the Commission.

IPA CIS observers noted that the polling station opened on time, polling boxes made of opaque plastic sheets were in place and in order, properly sealed. Polling booths complied with international standards.

Voting also took place in accordance with international norms: identities are verified, invisible ink test applied, bulletins issued, invisible ink applied, entry made in the registry.

The turnout was high.
