Yerevan branch of IIMDP IPA CIS to perform scientific research The research theme is Modern issues and prospects of election legislation in the Republic of Armenia

The research will identify legal issues within the existing Election Code and ways to tackle them. Among the experts participating in the research are Armen Smbatyan, secretary of Central Election Commission of Armenia, and Eduard Shatyryan, associate professor of constitutional law department, College of Law, Yerevan State University.
The results of the research will be available to all concerned authorities, public bodies, and research centers. Issues raised in the research will be discussed at a roundtable this October.
