IIMDD IPA CIS Baku field office finalizes the study on the role of the local self-government bodies

The Baku field office of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations completed the study “Role of the Local Self-Government Bodies in the Development of the Civil Society and the Rule of Law.”

The research is dedicated to the issues of improvement of the local self-government bodies activities and its legal basis, municipalities’ international activity, their interaction with the government and other aspects of the development of the municipal authorities. The presentation of the results and discussion are to take place in October 2019.
