IMPDP IPA CIS Chisinau office published a research paper

The paper is entitled Electoral Processes in the Republic of Moldova: Status, Trends and Future

It presents the outcomes of the research co-performed by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Institute. It provides in-depth exploration of the key electoral processes and analyses trends and future of the national election law, with some recommendations to improve the legislation. The implementation of the CIS Convention on Standards of Democratic Elections while ensuring suffrage rights and freedoms across the CIS is another focus of the paper.

The purpose of the paper is to further build on international practices and integrate them to the national electoral framework of Moldova.
