Presidential campaign kicks-off in Belarus

At its meeting on 1 July 2015, the Central Election Committee of Belarus, adopted an action plan on organizing the presidential elections containing key measures and relevant procedures.

The meeting also adopted the guidelines on foreign (international) election observation missions to be deployed during the upcoming elections.

“Missions from the CIS, OSCE, CoE will be invited to observe the upcoming elections”, said Chairman of the CEC Lidia Yermoshina. “The teams will be able to perform long-term monitoring throughout the elections”.

The IPA CIS will start building its international observer team after it receives the invitation.
