IPA CIS international observers met Assylbek Zheenbekov

The group of international observers represents 7 countries: The Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan. Among those distinguished representatives deputies of supreme legislative bodies, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Alexey Sergeev, experts of the International Institute for Monitoring Democratic and Parliamentary Process attended Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic to meet Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Assylbek Zheenbekov.
All the observers concurred that the elections of 4 October had been transparent and in compliance with all the international norms.
During the upcoming period and at the election itself the observers noted successful implementation of such modern technologies, as scanners for ballot cards and the use of biometric identity.
