IPA CIS observers continue its schedule of meetings with presidential hopefuls in Tajikistan

In the course of the meeting he briefed the observers on the highlights of the electoral platform of the incumbent President Emomali Rahmonov. In turn, the the IPA CIS observation team Leader Kayrat Ischanov briefed the host on the mandate of the team, findings of long-term monitoring, the team’s future plans. The observers also enquired about the financial aspects of the election campaign.

It is expected that voter turnout may be at around 90% of all eligible voters.
