IPA CIS observers granted accreditation cards

The observer team and Leonid Slutskiy, its coordinator, received their accreditation cards during their visit to Azerbaijan as part the presidential election monitoring.

Monday morning the delegation visited two district elecoms and four polling stations and met regional authorities to discuss progress of Calendar plan efforts and the level of readiness of the commissions.

IPA CIS observers also met the two parties that have nominated presidential candidates. The meetings focused on the progress in preparation to the election and collection of signatures in support of the candidates.
