IPA CIS observers met Mikhail Myasnikovich

The Head of the Upper House of Parliament of the Republic of Belarus told the observers about popular sentiment of the people.

‘The population is not different. I often travel to different regions and talk to representatives of different walks of life: citizens are going to participate in the election. Obviously the society pursues the path of democracy, and this is a stable and persistent process’.

Mikhail Myasnikovich also noted that all media provide extensive coverage of the election and everything associated with it.

The IPA CIS observers informed about the results of long-term monitoring and plans for the election day.
