IPA CIS observers held meetings with candidates for presidency and representatives of political parties of the Republic of Belarus

On 10 October the observers visited the campaign office of Alexander Lukashenko where they met Marianna Schetkina, the head of office.

Another meeting was held in the campaign office of Sergei Gaidukevich, the contender from the Liberal democratic Party of Belarus.

The IPA CIS observers also met Tatyana Korotkevich, another contender for presidency who also shared her opinion on the election and its media coverage.

Another contender for presidency is Nikolay Ulahovich. During his meeting with the IPA CIS observers he expressed his opinion on the importance of the election for developing democratic institutions in the Republic of Belarus.
