IPA CIS observers will monitor elections in the Republic of Belarus

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko received the invitation of Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to take part in the observation effort at the elections to the VI House of Representatives on 11 September 2016.

The IPA CIS will form and delegate the observer team to the Republic of Belarus. The team will include MPs from the IPA CIS countries, IPA CIS Secretariat staff and experts of the IIMDD IPA CIS.
