Roundtable Elections 2016: Cooperation of Election Commissions and Expert Community in Moscow

The online roundtable Elections 2016: Cooperation of Election Commissions and Expert Community, hosted by Chair of the Russian CEC Ella Pamfilova, took place on Moscow.

On behalf of CEC, Ella Pamfilova expressed commitment to provide maximum freedom for operations of observers at elections. She added that more events and seminars would be organized for observers.

Acting Director of IIMDD IPA CIS Dmitry Gladey took part in the roundtable. In his intervention, he informed the participants about the common efforts of the IPA CIS and the Election Commission of the Leningrad region in training members of election commissions.

Elections of members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation will take place on 18 September 2016.
