Members of the IPA CIS team of observers to monitor parliamentary elections in Tajikistan met with the leaders of the Communist Party of Tajikistan. The sides discussed the course of the election campaign, the work of the CEC and other electoral authorities, as well as changes to the electoral law. The CP leaders pointed to the role of the IPA CIS in observing elections as well as in promoting model laws in the CIS.
