Moscow in the run-up to the presidential elections in Tajikistan

Today, IPA CIS international observers Sergey Karavyev and Vadim Beletov met the Chairman and members of the elecom at the Embassy of Tajikistan.

Members of the commission informed the observers on the updates to the election list on some 30 000 Tajik nationals registered at the Embassy.

Information for voters on place and time of elections was provided via e-mail, telephone, and the media.

34500 ballots were delivered to the polling station. According to the observers, the balloting room has been equipped with three ballot boxes of opaque glass and 10 mobile ballot boxes.
