Team of IPA CIS international observers arrives in Doushanbe

Today, the Team of IPA CIS international observers arrived in Doushanbe for short-term monitoring of the presidential elections in Tajikistan. The Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev is a member of the corps of international observers deployed in Doushanbe. The Team of IPA CIS observers is part of the larger CIS Observation Mission of 35 members, including MPs and IPA CIS IIMDD staff. IPA CIS observation Team Leader is the Vice-Speaker of the Kazakhstan Parliament Kayrat Ishanov.
