Outcome press conference of the CIS Observer Mission in Moscow

The Outcome Press Conference of the CIS Observer Mission at the elections to the VII State Douma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation took place in Moscow.

"The elections were held in compliance with the effective law. The CEC and other relevant agencies of the Russian Federation ensured citizens' right to free expression of will. The elections complied with the principles of democratic voting being open and competitive", said Head of the CIS Observer Mission Vladimir Garkun.

Individual gaps in the elections process were small-scale and could not affect the election results

Coordinator of the IPA CIS Observer Team, Chair of the Committee of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on International Affairs, Defense and Security Almzabek Baatyrbekov attended the press-conference.
