Social-democrat speaks about the opposition, black PR and low media interest

IPA CIS observers, including members of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kirgiz Republic Bakhadyr Suleymanov and Bolot Sher, members of Verkhvona Rada of Ukraine Svetlana Fabrikant and Sergey Grinevetskiy and Deputy IIMDD IPA CIS Director Andrey Baranov met with Chairman of the Social-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan Araz Alizade.

At the meeting, they spoke about the lack of unity of the opposition, usage of black PR mechanisms by the candidates, low media interest to the initiatives of the candidates. Araz Alizade said that the CEC and precinct elecoms are successfully preparing the elections and addressing pre-election tensions.

IPA CIS observers have already had several meetings with Azerbaijani parties and presidential candidates.
