The CIS observer team will provide an objective assessment of the election campaign in the Russian Federation

The Moscow office of the CIS Executive Committee hosted a meeting of Team Coordinator from the IPA CIS, First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Ziyafet Asgarov with Head of the CIS Observer Team at the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, First Deputy Executive Secretary of the CIS Viktor Guminskiy.

Ziyafet Asgarov informed Viktor Guminskiy about the forthcoming round table for the international observers at the presidential elections in the Russian Federation organized by the IIMDD IPA CIS which to be held on 21 February 2018 at the headquarters of the IPA CIS in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

During the meeting the participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the election campaign and the organization of work of the CIS Observer Team. They expressed confidence that the Observer team from the CIS would provide an objective assessment of the preparation and holding of the election campaign and fulfill its duties in accordance with the Russian legislation.
